Second floor

The second floor of the "Zaans huisje"
A lot of beds, big familys in the old days and little room, so al the children sleep upstairs.
The parents sleep downstairs in the "bedstee" with the new born baby.
I made two beds yesterday:

    This room is even more beautiful than the other, so full of light...
    Perhaps, because I became a mother recently and I'm very sensitive to the crib near the parents' bed :-)
    But you should rest your eyes or am I wrong?!

    Flora, the room is so full of light because the roof isn't placed.
    This is an old dutch house and they haven't much light in this houses. They are very little and the familys where very big. In one of my older blogs about the "bedstee" you can read about it also.
    About my eyes: I can't sit long behind the computer, can't read long, the only thing that I can do is make mini's. I hope after the first surgery that will be better, but there must more surgery before everything is alright.

    You are making your minis smaller and smaller . And even more intricate now, Sylvia. I am sure this will mean more room to put your minis as well. Soon for many of us who are addicted to minis, 1:24 scale cannot be ruled out ! :)
