New project and mail from Liberty

Today I started a new project inspired by this pictures:
The roofs of Paris buildings

My workspace at the moment, it is lovely weather!

And this morning there was a beautiful suprise from Liberty, daughter of Mercedes:

A teatowel with the most lovely dogs and a card with drawing.

Mercedes send me some thin leather for suitecases and three wooden jars, I can use them in the Zaanse huisje.

And another drawing from Liberty, it is a little dog that is going for a walk with his lunchbox on his tail.

Thank you Mercedes and Liberty!!!

The roof is finished, I made it old and dirty ( like always)

The front is almost ready, so I think tomorrow the house is finished

Very, very proud

This month my daughter her 1:1 house is published in a magazine ( 101 woonideeën)

She have a very small house in the center of Utrecht

Just like her mother she likes old things, like enamel

The only differents there is, she likes green and I like blue

I am so proud of her!!!

The front

Last week there was a television programme about a 1:1 house like the one I am making in 1:24 scale. The people bought the house and did a complet renovation.
They told also that the front was make from wood and complet handiwork.
