Because I have a full time job, I am not so speedy as the most of you know me, time is flying and sometimes I wish there are 48 houres in a day...
But there is some progress and this morning I put the parts togheter and you can see the glue isn't dry.

Yesterday the three projects arrived in Florida, with some little things that he must glue again, but they have survived the big trip.

These three projects are sold to a museum in Florida, USA!!!!
In a few days I must say goodbye to my "baby's"
A bit sad, but also happy to have some space to make new projects (LOL)
I am very proud and hope that they will give a lot off people inspiration.

Presents from Mercedes, Rosanna, Frederica and Sabiha

I had so many presents last week, I hope I don't forget anything
First all the presents from Mercedes, all so wonderful and special!
This from Rosanna, I love them all but most the small crib and the antique spoons, wonderful!!

Sabiha give me the suitcase that she made, it's perfect!
Frederica made also some special presents for me, also very, very wonderful and she didn't know that my next project will be a childrens room, so this are the perfect presents for it.
Look at the little doll, all knitted, so cute.
This was something Mercedes has given us when Rosanna came
Isn't it great??!!
And when we arrived in Paris Sabiha and I got another present from Mercedes
I also bought some nice things in Paris, first the Laduree things, jam and chocolate
A very, very old French letter

And a old English book, I already had the old dictonary French-Dutch so I put it next to it.

Thank you girls for all the presents and I hope I didn't forget things, but you give me so much.....

Yesterday we had a quiet day, we slept good, did some preparation for the diner and in the afternoon I picked up Rosanna from the airport.
First we drink tea and we exchanged gifts, all so beautiful.

Yesterday we visit the area around Zaandam, the first picture is Mercedes and Sabiha in the train

Everywhere in our country we have big super markets that called "Albert Heijn"
The man that started this chain of supermarkets had his first shop here

At last I made the roof, it was a job I wasn't looking forward at ( I knew there will be a lot of coffeesticks to cut and glue)
Almost 400 coffeesticks, so it wasn't fun ... but the residents were complaining (LOL)

Sans ask me about this cabinet.
She told me that her grandmother had something like this and I heard it before from other people.
I bought it years ago very cheap at something like ebay here in the Netherlands and I still love it very much.

Yesterday Sabiha and I went to the show in Arnhem.
Of course we had a great day and bought some wonderful things.
First the stove, number 1 at my list (LOL)
When you put a light behind it , it is going to glow.

And I have the cheese slicer.
I saw it last year, but didn't buy it ( there is a whole story behind it)
This year we went straight to the shop when we enter the show.

The painting on this side is done, just some lead for the roof, the balconies, railing and shutters.

Because I have a dormer, there is room for a little guest-room.

Before I even build the house I already started to rebuild.
During the making of the kitchen I discovered that there was no room enough, so I made a little extension.
As you can see, I must make some parts of the wall, but this give you an idea.

New Project

The last weeks I was busy to make two houses, one for Sabiha and one for me.
I sold the big house because it didn't have the space that I want and I like to build houses.
The house for Sabiha is ready, she shall show it herself.
After her house was ready, I doubted if I shall finish the "chambre de S" but I didn't have the patience to do it.
It needs to many tiny things and that is something that my eyes are not ready for.
I started with a floor, I love to do this.
The platform had already wax on it and have exactly the colour I want.
What kind of room it will be...........suprise.......more about that later.

This was a Christmas present for my daughter, she went last summer with her brothers to Denmark and fall in love at the houses there.
When she came back, she showed me a picture and I made it in 1:12 scale.
